COLUMBIA, Md. – June 20, 2007 – Martek Biosciences Corporation (NASDAQ: MATK), a DHA omega-3
market leader, announced today that its flagship product, life'sDHA™, is featured in Stremicks Heritage
Foods™ Organic Milk Enriched with Omega-3 DHA. The latest addition to the Stremicks Heritage line, the new
milk is an excellent source of DHA and provides consumers with 32 mg per serving of life’sDHA™, a
vegetarian form of DHA omega-3, a fatty acid important for brain, eye, and nervous system development and
